has been doing it for a few weeks. Nothing is coming up on my Norton AV.

Wondering if anyone else has experienced this?

Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the two jokers! 😛

Its not a food blender..!!

No, I hear it starting to spin, then it opens automatically, needing me to shut it. If there is a CD in it then it asks periodically if I was to run the D drive or the message "open D drive with ..... options.

But superglue sure is permanent. 😛
I think that the doc or maybe daemon can give you a straight answer... Or then again...

Cheers.

I was hoping it was a little more common than this, but then again I only posted the original not long ago.

Hopefully the two mentioned will get to see the thread and offer advice.

Pull the cd out of the drive and reboot. This will not solve the problem but it is necessary to do before you can change your settings in the program that is causing the problem.

One of your programs that writes to the drive needs to have it's settings changed. It's up to you to figure out which one it is. With a little effort you can find this out and enter the menu to change the settings.

take 2 pennies (stacked) and wedge them into the space between the drawer and cabinet, gently tap them in with a hammer if necessary

Virus. Mail me the thing, I will fix it for you.

And then keep it for my fee. As long as it is a mac or windows machine.
