I was raised as a catholic and attended a catholic school where my headmaster caned me, I stole sixpence from a church at the age of 11, I used to prefer riding my pony to attending mass on Sunday mornings, I had sex before I got married, I used contraception, I have been guilty of blasphemy, I have lied to my parents.
Not all catholics adhere to the 10 commandments.

Child rape is now illegal in the majority of countries and the perpetrators are dealt with regardless of their faith or beliefs.

Do you think that the generations born of migrants from those countries continue to live in the same way or do you think that they change in some way? The first generation were, after all, looking for something better in their lives.

They are called 'honour killings', but there is nothing honourable about killing family members as we see in some cultures. Having read about this old tradition, I am aware of the reasons for them, but they have to be stopped. In our own countries, at least, we should be able to do that.

Western societies are failing to provide a perfect world in which children can languish in a carefree youth. Children are having sex at a younger age, the rates of self harm, depression, anxiety and suicide are on the increase as is child exposure to pornography. Most statistics on pornography use say the average age of a child's first exposure to pornography is 11 years old. New research from the security technology company Bitdefender, has reported children under the age of 10 now account for 22% of online porn consumption under 18 -years old.
I don’t disagree or lack concern about any of this Drewnogal, it I’d like to make an observation. In most the forums here there are threads about killings increasing, the extreme right wing mood growing in factions around the world, climate change getting worse, environmental issues threatening species and indigenous peoples and so on and so forth.
However if a poster makes the suggestion that the works is becoming a worse place, they are lambasted and demanded to produce all kinds of evidence.
I made the mistake of thinking this thread could be a place to express our condolences but have ended up in a counterargument to oppose one person’s view that all Muslims are evil.
