Hmmm, I always thought this was "She don't lie... she don't lie... she don't lie... Cocaine!"

Well it depends what field of achievement you are talking about. (if I had the time) I could name a massive list of people in the creative arts who have produced work influenced by drugs. Mostly in music but some other such as authors for example Lewis Carroll.

In music:
The Beatles
Pink Floyd
Jimi Hendrix
Black Sabbath
Bob Marley

I would guess if you are going to be a scientist or go into politics then stay away, but they aren't always bad for your career if you are creative.

I should probably take this chance to update.

Said person has returned to school, apparently she hid the stuff before the teacher saw it, but still got a 1 day suspension for having a lighter. :/

IDK, the stories clash pretty bad, and she was gone for over 2 weeks - but the information won't be made public, so I can't tell you what's true and what isn't anymore.

It's not a problem to use a chemical occasionally to enhance your state of being or alter your perspective. It becomes a problem if that sensation of experience becomes your goal.

Cocaine don't make me lazy
Ain't nobody's business but my own

Candy is dandy but liquer is quicker
I can drink all the liquer down in Costa Rica(R)
Ain't nobody's business but my own.

you'd need to speak in laymans terms, I dont think ppl realize clapton steals all his songs from jj cale, moon. well perhaps now that they released an album together finally, but even then i'm sure the mass opinion is cale would be riding on claptons wing for that album.

btw, dr. jeckyl and mr. hyde is supposed to be about coke, stevenson enjoyed the nose candy, and a reporter I know, who is married to a very well known humorist (trust me, most of you would recognize the name) who is friends with steven king and is in the part time band called the rock bottom remainders with him (thats it, no more hints) says king would get so behind on deadlines he snort up fat lines to write through marathon sessions

I know that you're right. I see Clapton getting the nod on that one all of the time. Most probably think that he wrote Little Wing as well....and Crossroads but I hope not.
