I will do just that 😠
Back to coffee and American chains, surprisingly the best coffee I've had in a non coffee shop chain was in dunkin donuts in Lima but the decadent donut might have had something to do with that.
Starbucks is always overpriced and terrible wherever you go, once needed Wi-Fi in the Philippines and Starbucks was my only close option and it wasn't terrible but usually sucks. Cafe Amazon in Thailand was my favorite, reminded me of cafe Nero at home.
All time worse was this 'drip coffee' place, ages to make it and tasted like slightly coffee flavored water, awful. Can't remember where it was, Thailand or Vietnam, talking about Vietnam, the weirdest coffee on the planet earth, egg coffee, wrong, just wrong.
@trev33 saidDid you go to any of the MacDonald's in your travels?

@trev33 saidThere's a chap in Camden Town who makes the best coffee I've ever tasted.

@very-rusty saidYes, some don't sell coffee, some do and it's terrible, UK and Ireland, had some decent coffee in Asian McDonald's, Singapore I think was the last. I don't go into the place often though, maybe for the odd ice cream. I went to one here but don't think they sold coffee which is surprising because there's always someone selling it everywhere, including the beach, last thing I want at the beach is a hot drink.

@trev33 saidI get 2 x-large pretty much every morning at our local Macdonald's and love it. My brother-in-law prefers the Tim's coffee but will have a Macdonald's once and a while. I find it a milder coffee. Some claim that they use the Original Tim's beans for their coffee.
