I know how you feel. A few months ago I had to put my dog to sleep. He was only six and a half years old. I'm still not over it.

Sorry about your dog and Sunburnt's frog. :'( Was that the dog that gave you chess lessons in this picture? http://www.katja.klee24.de/TFC/Chess/Taking_lessons.html

I think it was just his time. He had crickets but stopped eating. He went to the bottom of his tank, underneath the substrate, and wouldn't come out. 🙁

Yeah, and he did that, too. I would still put crickets in occasionally and he would come out and eat. This time, he didn't come out. 🙁 I found him all dried up and skinny underneath. I noticed it had been a while since he was seen at all.

How old was he? And what kind of frog?

I think it's not allowed to have frogs as pets here in Norway, but I always love to meet them in their natural habitat.

I found a frog when I went to check my Mums house (she was on holiday). In the garden where there had once been a pond the frogs would come sometimes, under a pot one had gotten it's leg cought and there it had died 🙁 all shriveled by the sunshine.

I burried it in the garden.

One year old. He was a domestic green frog. Nothing fancy, very small. Here you can have just about any frog for a pet. YOu can't have baby turtles though.

Yes, that's him, that's our Zhorky. We had amputate one of his toes because of cancer and they said that the cancer was completely gone, but he also had an unknown disease. We went to the university for animals for months, but they couldn't help him.
