Anyone recommend a good free (or cheap) program that does this?

I had a look on google, and found a site with plenty of DVDA related avi's on it... not sure you're after that though 😕

I have just a few movies..."Eraserhead", "The Continuing Adventures of Tubgirl", "Rushmore", "Russian Ark"...etc. that will only play on the computer, either because they're avi or divx. Just looking for something that will allow me to play them on my DVD playa.

I heard her arch-enemy, Eel Girl, is back for more.

Did you enjoy Eraserhead? There's a very good explanation of the symbolism in it online somewhere.

Yes, although I can't say I understood all of it. On the other hand, most of Lynch's stuff doesn't lead to a nice tidy explanation, which is sort of what I like. Still trying to figure out what Inland Empire was all aboot.

If you're still looking there is a free give away of Wondershare Video to DVD Burner at this site:

Normally 39 odd dollars but you have around 11 hours to get it free, if you're interested.

Best one i have come across is ConvertXtoDVD, around £25 to buy but it will actually compress up to 4 hours video on to one blank two hour DVD without losing any quality. Also it will merge up to more than one video, same 4 hours on to a blank 2 hour DVD. Also it will convert to dual layer discs as well.
