He He, Favs wonders when the next round is going to be, even though the signs are that Richard is going to throw all his toys out of the pram, pet Carol on the rear and make an exit into the glories of the Yorkshire T.V. studio's carpark, go straight ahead, daringly cross Kirkstall Road, and fall into the milk vats of the Milk Distributors across the road.
Or he could turn right into the studios of Radio Aire and interrupting a live broadcast, throw a massive wobbler, say things like "I'm going to try and copyright the word "countdown" and makes me millions" and then ride off on his pedalo down the canal.
Or he could.................

Sorry, but going to be a strictly functional update…
The solutions are…
Alcra
(7 * 8) * 10 = 560
560 + (25 * 2) = 610
610 + 4 = 614
The Plumber
>(8+4)=12
12*25=300
300+7=307
307*2=614
Jacko
25*((10*2)+4)+(7+8)=615
Favs
8+4=12
12*25=300
Add 7 (=307)
Times by 2!
Marcusr
8+4=12
12*25=300
300+7=307
307*2=614
Mayharm
(((8 + 4) * 25) + 7) * 2 = 614
kyngj
25 * (10+4) = 300.
300 + 7 = 307.
307 * 2 = 614
chris
(8+4)x25+7=307x2=614
And the table looks like…
The Plumber 25 (25)
Marcus 25 (25)
Chris 18 (24)
Favs 17 (24)
Mayharm 17 (24)
Alcra 17 (23)
Carol 10 (21)
Kyngj 10 (10)
Fred 8 (8)
Demonseed 7 (14)
Darvlay 7 (7)
Jimmyb270 7 (7)
Mat 7 (7)
Jacko 0 (12)
Wucky 0 (13)
Richard 0 (12)
And the letters for the historic game 5, Round 4 are
*** Y A D I O E T P S ***
There’s 9 in the frame, lets get on with the game.

Pardon my ignorance - can you explain what the difference between the numbers before the parens and the number inside the parens is?
For example, yours are the same, because you had the longest word, mine are different, because in the one round I only had a six letter word against the (longest) 8 letter word. Therefore, I "scored" 6, but they did not count towards my "real" score.
Make sense? If so, please feel free to translate the above into something vaguely understandable! 😀
Originally posted by AlcraYup, thats it. The numbers in the brackets are just there to see how well you compared to how Richard and Carol did in the show.

There's a game you might understand better in the studio next door.
*Shouts of 'HIGHER! HIGHER! LOWER! LOWER!' can be heard as heckler leaves studio with head hung in shame.*
