There's a game you might understand better in the studio next door.

*Shouts of 'HIGHER! HIGHER! LOWER! LOWER!' can be heard as heckler leaves studio with head hung in shame.*

Richard's American audience misses the humor....(at least this particular member of that audience - but he's sure it was quite humorous, none the less)

*smirk* - don't you just hate pointless posts just to rescue your favourite thread from anonymity.

I suppose they may act as a reminder to our esteemable host that we all love him, but I suppose 10 years or so of the same has slowed his enthusiasm for the game....

I read in the paper yesterday that he had some minor problems, but it just seemed like a routine thing. Obviously, any heart surgery is going to have a risk attached to it but I didn't expect that. He always seemed so full o beans.

He'd been in hospital quite awhile, and underwent emergency heart surgery a few days ago, so it wasn't completely unexpected ... but very sad, he had become a bit of an institution.

I wish. Got two jobs. One is okay but we have a new supervisor in the other and he is a complete twit. A complete lazy arrogant buffoon. I'm currently loooking for something else.
