Was it Father Ted? 😀
More likely Father Jack eh?

...suck. Hard. Especially when they're angry and screaming and cursing and threatening to sue everyone they've ever spoken to including me. Worst of all, he was a priest!
just needed to get that out... 😛
If your email goes down like the titanic once more, I'll kill you, you son of a bitch".
That type of call?
Those calls are like my morning coffee and smoke, you can hear the blood vessels in their head expanding.
Wrap that call, and make sure your write-up includes the word knob alot...good job.

I don't take incoming calls anymore, when things escalate to a certain point I will have to call back and try to repair the irreparable damage done by some lying sales weasel who didn't manage customers' expectations from the beginning...

I was in the same boat, as long as sales gets their wedge.
The companies have one objective, create a half assed system and flog it.
I really do not know why they provide tech support, it is a waste of time, unless it is like the company I used to work for that gave support on a prem number.
I used to work on the nuts and bolts side of things and I knew my kit worked, I am good at what I do and my servers then ran sweet, but every now and again the customers could not get their email, I wonder why??????
£1 a min hmmmmmmm
As a customer, I want to get some matches.

Just give them everything they want. Their attitude will change. 🙂
He can, however, get stuffed. 😀

Originally posted by cadwahHere, your country still has alot of problems with old school copper-pair wiring as well - I only know because I used to work with Bulldog Broadband who were selling on the basis that theirs was a new technology that only relied on the local wiring and they still couldn't offer broadband to everyone on the exchanges they were in.

But, of course, you are right - the further out of the cities here you go, the further back in time you go. 😛
This customer had been escalated to me after speaking to six telephone technical support staff.
The problem, unable to connect, win XP prof, broadband cust.
Me: Hello, I understand you are having problems and slowly speaking to every member of staff here.
Cus: I lost my sense of humour 9 hours and six plonkers ago.
Me: My apologies for that sir. I know you have already done this six times already, but can I go through a few things with you?
Cus: Do you have to?
Me: Not really.
Cus: Hurry up then.
Me: Can you re-start your machine, and while it is rebooting can I ask a few questions to pin point the problem.
Cus: I have already re-started it!!!!!!!!!
Me: at what point today did you re-start?
Cus: It wasn’t today, it was last week!!!!!
Me: Are you telling me you have not rebooted your machine since last week?
Cus: It was ok before I upgraded my firmware on the router, I shouldn’t have to restart!!!!
Me: After performing that operation, it would be best if you restarted your machine.
Cus: If we can put a man on the moon…….blah….blah…..blah….(5 minutes of why he hates me)
Me: Is it working yet sir?
Cus: I have not restarted yet.
Click………..silence……
