Should I make spaghetti or leg of lamb?

He doesn't like mushrooms, which I love in my spaghetti, and I'm all out of parmesan cheese.

If I g
But spaghetti isn't really all that impressive of a meal 🙁

ARGH! Too much pressure!
Well, it seems to me we have many an option. Option "A", listen to what all these losers have to say, bore the guy to death, have sex, he'll say he'll call you soon (tis what I would say in such a situation), and you'll have had a pleasant evening.

Option "B": Listen to my idea

My idea: After he walks in, hit him over the head with a vase. Empty his pockets, take everything, leave nothing. When he wakes up, he will have found you bound him to a chair in your basement

Stage 2: start making ransom calls. I usually start with direct family, and work my way through friends an co-workers.

Stage 3: Put him in your trunk and drive to the park. There you will see a black limousine parked between two trees. I have ordered the driver to take you to my summer house in Nevada. We will split the money, move to switzerland, and start a new life in the alps.

Everthying is waiting. Go. Go now!

EDIT: C'monn, it worked on my girlfriend!

The biggest aphrodisiac is the smug satisfaction you'll both get from your mutual decision to skip all the silly mating rituals.

Then again, if you want to behave like a couple of grasshoppers or sea gulls, be my guest.

Rule of thumb: In any dating situation, ask yourself, "What would Darwin do?" Therein lies your answer.

there's no way it will make any difference what the food is, if the guy just has even half of a demented brain. it's not a deal breaker.

this may come as a shocker, but food is not what's gonna be on his mind.
The food ALWAYS makes a difference! It sets the whole tone for the evening. Some pretty good recipes that I've written down and thanks to HoH I've put up DO NOT GET PREGNANT post it notes all over the house. It's always the small details that I tend to forget.

I've decided to go with the spaghetti. Gonna make some Honey Garlic meatballs to go with it as well. I want to go with a very light fun mood and the lamb is a more serious tone kind of dinner. If things go good I'll make that later on in the week.

Never underestimate the importance of food. I use to really enjoy having dinner parties and cooking up huge feasts for a handfull of friends. I find it very rewarding and as I said It's been some time since I've gotten to cook for someone other than my kids. Who, by the way, like their spaghetti plain with butter on it. 😕

What are you doing for wine. Widget, as useless as he is, may have a good suggestion for you. I'd go with a nice French Caberbet Saugvignon.

Don't even get me started on that!!! I have nothing TO wear! I've managed to outgrow all my pants 😞

I'll have to squeeze into something I'm sure.

He's bringing the wine. As he's Australian he's bringing some kind of Australian red. I'm tempted to run over and get myself a bottle to drink before hand!

Forget the food.
Open the wine.
In the morning treat him to a nice breakfast.😛
