In the US we call it bar hopping. The best one I ever went on was in Olongapo City in the Phillipines. I woke up face down (I rolled of the bench and broke my nose) on the floor of the Shore Patrol holding cell. There was hell to pay with my First Sargent that morning😛😕

Call bar-hoppin in the US....yea, we have it. 🙂
When you are bar-hopping you go somewhere and drink, then somebody says "where should we go next?".
A pub-crawl is more goal directed - more like a tour of bars in an area. I remember being in a club when a group of drunken law students came in. It turned out they had just finished final exams and rented a bus to take them from club to club.
By the way, all the drunken lady lawyers I've ever known have been enormously fun, yet insane.
