I recommend as many people inform the GM as possible, so he has a harder time missing the e-mail, forgetting about the issue, etc.

How can you tell what they are doing already if the turn hasn't been ran? Or.. am I missing something that I'm able to check?

You would read the various e-mails you get from people and interpret them. If you got an e-mail from twincheater1 saying what a great Royal twincheater2 is and how you should be his Henchman, you might come to the conclusion mentioned above.
