I've just opened my turn and i'm not happy, one of my naval units has just dissapeared and another that I built isn't showing in the garrison. I have checked and no battles occured which would explain me losing the units so what do I do?

Go into your old saved orders file and have a look at the final turn you saved. Are you sure you sent those orders?

Sometimes the prices of certain units are incorrectly listed in the Diploware. For example, in NE (another similar AGE game) Marines cost more than the Diploware says they do. This sort of thing could be the problem.

Didn't your Suzerian bail on you this turn? I think there are penalties of some sort for the breaking of that relationship, though I can't see why that bond would have been broken simply because of going bot.
Ask the GM. He generally gives people lots of loot when stuff like this happens.
