@suzianne saidDon't worry. It's out of your league.
I don't.
@handyandy said🙂

@karoly-aczel saidSure. But what about mine?
🙂
Awwww, you gotta respect her refined sensibilities
@karoly-aczel saidYou mean like you-know-who in the White House?
It's implied, sir.
She needs the attention ...
@wolfgang59 saidNo, it isn't.
Has anyone else noticed we cannot edit posts when replying to them?
(apart from deleting text)
That means we cannot clarify text. For example explaining
who or what a pronoun in the original text stood for.
Is this an improvement?
@wolfgang59 saidNo it isn’t; but most of the changes in the last update aren’t improvements in my honest but probably unwelcome opinion.

@fmf saidThe removal of the post search function was another huge loss to the appeal of the forums. I still don’t understand why that had to happen and why in this stage of the site’s evolution it cannot be repaired. But hey we have round avatars and more colour instead.
No, it isn't.
If it was intended to combat tampering with quoted text, then it's a sledgehammer that prevents a legitimate and useful bit of editing [as you pointed out] presumably in an effort to stamp out misuse which the perpetrator could never get away with anyway.
@handyandy saidNo one needs that much attention, not even you Andy! 😉
You mean like you-know-who in the White House?
@wolfgang59 saidNo. Also, when you accidentally cut too much, you can't type it back in -- I have no Ctrl-Z on this phone.

@shallow-blue saidDude, upgrade your phone.
No. Also, when you accidentally cut too much, you can't type it back in -- I have no Ctrl-Z on this phone.
@shallow-blue saidLet me guess you have the old flip phone? I had that for years before I upgraded. 😉

@shallow-blue saidCorrect, you have to back page, reload and start again.

@divegeester saidDidn't one of the Dragons give him a job though? ...
I’m reminded of the guy on Dragon’s Den, who invented a rubber cap to prevent a cucumber drying out. one of the dragons said to him “you’ve invented a solution to a problem that doesn’t exist...just slice the end of the cucumber off!”
