@eladar saidYou're perfectly entitled to your point of view. I have always commanded respect in my work as an educator but, if any of it was somehow automatic on account of generic 'respect for teachers', then that is of no interest or consequence to me.
Perhaps it is because there is a core of worthless individuals like you here posting in so many threads.
@eladar saidI know why you call it "math". But British people, like me and divegeester, spell the shortened version of the word mathematics "maths" with an S. You think that's "ignorant"?
It is necause you are ignorant. If I can know why you spell it colour, you should know why I call it math.
But you do not, so you are simply ignorant.
There's another poster who claims to be a maths [and science] teacher of young children who used to be more active on the Spirituality Forum. His self-serving [and religion-driven] definition of the words "lie" and "lying" meant that he believed children getting questions wrong on a maths quiz were "lying" and that all the incorrect answers were "lies". If I'd been the head of that school, and that had come up in his job interview, I'd have picked someone else.
@eladar saidRegardless of the group, there are those who claim what they don't personally deserve. You are in this category.
Either you have respects for teachers as a group or you do not. If you have no respect for most teachers, then you do not have respect for teachers as a group.
Not sure why you needed to have that explained, other than your lack of intelligence.
@eladar saidI'd be willing to bet that you're an even bigger dickhead in person.
Chances are the topics discussed here do no get brought up in friendly conversation.
Chances are people in person are not as much of a dick* head in person.
So saying you are friends with someone in person does not you would be friends here. If the person is a liberal you would likely be a friend, but if the person is conservative then you would be an enemy.
@eladar saidYou seem to be supporting the notion of automatic, not-necessarily-earned, and uncritical respect for people in certain positions. This sounds a bit like it belongs to the so-called "Asian Values".
You are in the group of worthless people who go around wasting time chiming in where you are not wanted.
