If you’re in a position that you need to drink your own urine to re-hydrate yourself, then don’t do it.
You will have sweat out the better part of your expendable body fluids and at that point it will be mostly toxins and I would imagine very very bad.
However, if you get about 5 litres of fresh clean water each day, the amount of toxins to useful products will be much lower and could possibly (some think) be beneficial.
For instance, insulin will be present in your water if you are diabetic and inject insulin, handy if you run out and you have not been thirsty (if you are thirsty your urine will not be very good).
Another example, and I have no conclusive idea why, it does appear in some cases to repair skin damage.
(This was observed on human guinea pigs only)
Do not drink your own wee to try any of this out, see a doctor (these are the ramblings of quite an insane man).
