The Rubiyat is my favourite among all poems that it is highly out of character for me to like.

So what do you guys called grilled cheese?

When I hear "grilled cheese" I think of actual cheese being placed on the grill, just as with any piece of meat. And for that purpose, there's nothing better than halumi cheese, which I think it's traditional in Cyprus or Malta.
Typically, you take two slices of bread, butter them both, put in a couple slices of your favorite cheese and fry (butter side out) till golden brown.

my poor mans sandwich is great! it will sound disgusting to many who read this but don't knock it till you try it.

peanut butter, cream cheese and pickles. I thought I would hate it until I tried it one day (there was nothing else left in my barracks fridge)

When I went to Philly, I had a real Philly Cheesesteak. It was quite enjoyable.

I also enjoy fried egg and mayo.

Also good is turkey, colby jack, and dill pickles.

Prosciutto, salami, and pepperoni with provolone, spinach and olives.

I'm hungry now...

Best sandwich I ever had was (several years ago)...

Smoked ham, melted brie, fig paste and caramelized onions on warm freshly-baked focaccia bread.

Think of it as a quesadilla del la gringo.

Not really. I was never much of a meat-eater to begin with.
