how can it be ? A player gets into such a strong position , the opponent cannot move because they would be checkmate and its stalemate.. I say thats Stupid no other word for it.

I'd say it's stupid that the 'stronger' opponent would be weak enough not to watch out, it doesn't end up in stalement

On the other hand mate...we've all done it and I'm sure we'll do it again!

The only thing that is stupid is depriving your opponent of moves when you have such a strong position.

If the player did well enough to get into that position, they should have the skill to be able to finish it off, instead of making retardo moves that end the game with a draw. Thems the rules, deal with them.
