I can't remember which year it was (89?), but suicidal tendencies was playing in finland in a big open air concert, and some idiot threw a bottle at trujillo. mike muir jumped right into the crowd, grabbed the guy and beat the hell out of him. that was sweet.

do i respect rush or yes? hmmm - can't really say that i do, though i recognise that some mebers of each band has technical virtuosity. will my fav band be around in 4 years? dunno. but i don't see a connection between longivity and good singing - otherwise those bands i mentioned would have been shorter-lived.

Axl ran that band and made them who they were. If it wasn't for him GNR woulda been nowhere....kind like Revolver now.


And what do you mean by "they could have made it"?? When they released Use your Illusion 1& 2 they were at the Top of Chart in North America. They were the Rock Kings for a few years. But then some bands from Seattle started selling records and there was that whole spaghetti incident and.....

Are you one of the few Velvet Revolver fans out there then? Cause it's mostly the GNR band now with buddy from Stone Temple Pilots as the genericist...er, singer.
