The rest of your statement about the European Cup/Champions League is very subjective... but the fact is (whether you like it or not) is that Liverpool have won more European trophies (don't forget that they too have won the CL and not just the old European Cup?)

Well the new season is about to start.

I hear a new dawn is rising at Anfield with the exchange of Crouch for Keane. Its Liverpool's year to win the Premier league!

United haven't signed anyone of note.

Rooney, Ronaldo, Nani, Anderson, Hargreaves, Neville and Saha are all unavailable for the start of the season.

Sir Alex has lost his 1st team coach.

Isn't it time to start laughing (AGAIN) at Manchester United the Champions of England and Europe and declare Liverpool as title favourates?
