gee it sounds like you were born fully grown yourself, and never went through any of those childish phases, or put a foot wrong in your life

I have always liked playing with fireworks but I draw the line at putting them through peoples letterboxes, which happens from time to time around halloween.

But not your own? Were you born very close to midnight?

Halloween is more of an annoyance in England, the only kids who tend to celebrate it are either scrounging for money or wanting to commit vandalism and hope to pass it off as trick or treating.
I just had a whole bunch of polite little ghosts and witches at my door who didn't even try to be scary and thanked nicely for the sweets they got.

I get it, because if one was born at 11:59pm and one at 12:01am it would, in fact, give them two separate birthdays.

Yep. Another possibility is that she wanted to give a hint that it's her own birthday without saying that directly.

250!!! that is insane. I think I got one but I couldnt be bothered to answer the door and they went away.

I remember this one time I went to america around halloween and went out trick or treating and it is great - I got a whole bag full of sweets.

I was giving away candy. Trick-or-Treating started at 6pm in Cleveland, Ohio. First person to my door is my mom. First children come to my door at about 7:20, 2 children. I let each have 10 pieces of candy since they were the first. Next is my next door neighbor and two friends, I let each have 8. About 3 minutes later, two girls ring the door bell and run away by my entrance. I turned the lights off as I open my front door with glowing eyes for my entrance.

What a laugher. πŸ˜€

Kids are fun at Halloween!

I dumped a load of dry ice in the fish pond out front earlier tonight, it was foaming and foggy like crazy!
The kids loved it!
The fish were not too happy, they were pretty freeked out! Ha!
