I have heard about that, but I wonder if it might be an internettal legend.

Did you know Nordlys was meant to be Noodles, but they misspelt it, then decided to keep it that way?
I think it's true. A googol is 1 followed by 100 zeros. How many zeros does noodles have?

Don't misunderestimate President Bush.
Lemmie figure this out...

If I "underestimate" Bush then that means he is more capable than I had estimated.

So if I "misunderestimate" him would that mean the same as if I "overestimated" him???

Where's Nordlys when you need her? 😕

"Nord" is pronounced approximately as "noor" (with a rolled 'r' in most parts of Norway). "Lys" is more difficult to describe; the "y" is a long vowel somewhere between English "ee" and German "ü" or French "u".

Mine is steak & eggs.

A few years ago they were saying that there was too much choresterol in eggs but lately I've heard that's not true. Does anyone know?
You eat steak and eggs for breakfast? I need to move to America!!

"Misunderestimate" is one of Bush's words. I think it's a blend of misunderstand and underestimate.

I know what a googol is, and I don't doubt "Google" is derived from "googol", I just doubt it was a spelling mistake.

If you take small round noodles with a hole in them, there are as many zeros as noodles. (Edit: Actually big round noodles with a hole work, too.)

I think Regneark came up with "Noodles" when I explained the correct pronunciation of "Nordlys". It's not too far off.

Eggs are still considered pretty high in cholesterol, but I believe that they're good effects are now being considered more prominent then the bad ones.

I've found that low cholesterol eggs are pretty good, too, so if you eat them instead of regular ones, then you're even better off. You probably wouldn't even notice the difference if you eat other stuff with them (like steak).

I also heard that food which is high in cholesterol only affects you negatively if you are especially susceptible for it. Telling people who don't have a cholesterol problem not to eat eggs would be like telling people who aren't allergic against strawberries not to eat strawberries.

Okay, but zeros aren't holes. A googol is 10,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000, 000,000,000. That's a lot of holes.
