😲! Lucky. 🙁

Have you ever heard of Dupont cheese? It's the nearest factory, about 15 minutes away. Good stuff. They make a great cheddar. 🙂

Hi...I,m new to this site, but...I say: feed that habit, craving, etc. and watch it blossom and grow you lucky devil you. Encourage the dark side of your nature. The rest of the world denies it and tries to hide it. We all have it; why not enjoy it? Thats why we play chess; to indulge our atavistic innerbeing. Hope to see your on the boards............

I'm sorry to burst your bubble but I know some girl who's daughter used to work at subway and she told me a bit of a knightmare story about the place.
Apparently, at the Subway she worked at, the management had the staff pulling off best before stickers off food and replacing it with in date stickers.
I wouldn't touch them with a barge pole.

Dude, do you have any proof or experience of that, or is it just cynicism on your behalf?

EDIT: I've worked in about 10 establishments that either deal with catering and/or sell food, and none have carried out this disgusting procedure.

You have been playing too much chess. 😉

At my local grocery shop they don't replace the "best before" stickers (which usually aren't stickers anyway), but they sell a lot of stuff which is too old. I never buy anything there anymore without looking at the "best before" date. If it still looks okay, I sometimes buy it and ask for a reduced price.

Now if you experiment with the Atkins diet, have that double cheesburger..just remove the bun first.....and definitely no shake!
