It was a full coffee when I caught my wrist on the spoon and pulled the whole cup onto my keyboard.

"Ut, oh@! That's not good!"

I unplugged, raced for towels... dried best I could. It still didn't work.

I threw it in the sink, rinsed, leaned it up near the heat register... shook it... took the hair dryer to it. Tested. Failed... let it sit... tested failed. Tried again...

Now it's time to get a new one.

Coffee! Nyarg!

I've heard that the best thing to do when you, er..."spill something" on your keyboard, is to turn it upside down. I guess that keeps whatever it is you spilled out of the electronics. Not sure what to do at that point though.

I'm totally cereal.

I did the same thing, well my son tipped the drink for me, about a month ago. Phoned hubby up and he bought one, brought it home. 😀

I'm not too worried, but if I did it at work I'd cry... I've got the sweet illuminated Logitch G15 at work. I've already got a new one from the office here to bring home.
