@divegeester saidSorry to hear that. Do you have a high temperature?
Started yesterday, and today it is grating the throat and making the lungs feel a little fluffy.
I’ve had Motaba and recovered, so fingers crossed.

@ghost-of-a-duke saidNo. Just that familiar clawing at the throat and tickly chest one gets with every bug.

My better half has pneumonia and is on antibiotics as of yesterday her doctor sent her for x-rays the day before to find out for sure. I had a bit of a sore throat, just waiting to see how it goes. I took a cepacol which soothed the sore throat.
I am going to be staying away from crowded places as has been suggested, and not going anywhere while she is on the antibiotics which is for 7 days.

But every cough is a reminder.
@mister-moggy saidPerhaps I didn't explain it properly she has the pnemonia, I just got a bit of sore throat. We both saw the doctor same day. First time I saw him with a mask on, they are being very careful.

She is diabetic so not a good thing for her. Doctor said if she shows any signs of getting worst to call peramedics right away and tell them he ordered it. I have seen some improvement and keeping my fingers crossed.
Pnemonia though as you said is common if you have no underlying conditions.
Thank you for your blessings, everyone can use them at this time right across the world. This is now a world problem not just countries.

@divegeester saidEven if you have 'it', the vast majority of people make a quite swift and full recovery, so be heartened, dear chap. If I was a religious person I'd say one for you, but since I'm not, all best wishes will have to do.

@indonesia-phil saidIt is quite ok, I'll remember him in my nightly prayers.
