You should design a set for RHP. You'll be the hero of all Canadian players. And soon all the top players will be Canadian.
If you think of the rook as built like a castle, then Hal Gill, Zdeno Chara, and Chris Pronger pop into mind.
The knights can represent a work-horse of a player. Someone who plays every shift like his team is down by a goal. I can't think of anyone right now.
The pawns can be goalies.
Like that other guy said, good ol' Wayne can be the king.
But do we use a female for the queen?

I just read though 20 pages of your most recent forum posts and found that your 'advice' consists of posting links to or quoting from other sites that people could find themselves if they wanted, and the occassional soundbite that could have come from any beginner level chess book. When people respond to your posts you are almost inevitably discourteous accusing them of not making enough effort with their games in a very patronising manner.
Most of your other posts there are either complaining about what other people have posted or very thinly veiled cheating accusations levelled at some of the site's higher rated players.
In short, your are the most obnoxious person I have come across on this site, and I'm sick of reading your drivel.
