Hello pretend friends,

The past few days, I have had a super bad cold and absolutely no energy; unusual for me as I rarely ever get sick. Somebody please offer me some home remedies or concoctions that could help me. I've been drinking hot tea with lemon and honey steady and I'm quite sick of it.

Thanks in advance,

Mr. Sick

Oh, Darv, I am so worried about you.

I shall keep you in my prayers.

Nothing works better.

You could try lying face down in a bath of warm water for 20 minutes.

Let us know if it works 😉

Good piece of advice. Don't forget, Darv dear, to place the nose below the level of the water, alright?.

But are you praying for his recovery? We know you're looking forward to hearing Amazing Grace!

I find that Theraflu, hot tea, a hot bath, ibuprophin, and loads of self-pity seem to help.

When you're too sick to conquer nations, then I'll worry.

Hot brandy with chilled port and a slice. Works even if you aren't bad!

It's probably not a cold at all... you're most likely dying from the bird flu! 😲

Put 3 ice cubes in a glass and fill to 1/2" from the top with R&R whiskey, top it off with a little coke (not diet coke though). Drink it all down.

You might be dying but you won't care anymore. 😵
Seriously though, drink huge amounts of booze then go to bed with lots of covers on top of you. It causes you to sweat the virus out through your skin. Make sure you have a bottle of spring water by yur bed.

Sleep a lot, then take nap, then have some more sleep. Hot milk with honey doesn't help, but is good. Reader already mentioned the self-pity, that's very important. If you have a fever, take your temperature, because that will help with your self-pity. If you don't have a fever, don't take your temperature and pretend you have a fever. Did I mention sleep yet?

😲 Were you peeking in my livingroom last time I was sick??? Yes, that is indeed the whole point of taking your temperature when you're sick 😵

What were you doing in your living room? The right place to be when you are sick is the bedroom!

Sell your house, quit your job, get a gigantic loan and go out with a bang.

It will all be over soon.

Sounds good but I have no malt whiskey. Will CC do?
