I've never eaten Indian food. What would you recommend for a first timer?

I'm going to try that tonight. There is a first rate Indian restaurant here and I'm going to try it out. Thanks for the info.

If you've never eaten Indian before, try something labelled "mild" or "medium" - because "hot" takes a bit of practice before you can really enjoy it ....

from someone who wasn't warned - and chose Vindaloo on a first date!

murgh makhani (butter chicken), or if you're vegetarian, muttar paneer (peas with fresh cheese/curd)

I prefer Jalfrazi made with Tandoori chicken - rarely on the menu, but most places can do it if you ask.

Now I'm hungry - and it's only 6.40 am :'(
