>One of the issues I'm thinking about here is the justice system. Women commonly get custody of children in divorce, in 87% of the cases when I went through it, and men get court orders for access to the children, but these orders are meaningless because the courts do not enforce them.
>As a result, and after about $100,000 in legal bills trying to enforce the court order, I have not seen my now 26-year-old daughter in 22 years. No one has ever been able to explain why the mother did this, or why the law allows the mother to be above the law.
>Therefore, I am quite interested in men's rights and in equality before the law.

>I have no idea why I have been denied access, illegally denied access to be accurate. No, it cannot be enforced once she becomes an adult because the court orders expire at that point and they can no longer exist.
>As an adult, she can now make her own decisions, but of course she knows nothing since she was far too young at the time to remember anything. As of this moment, she apparently has made no attempt to find me. (It's important to note that I have not known where she has lived since she was 3.)

Seriously. Perhaps, then, when he comes back to post about IMD on November 19th, maybe I won't clutter up his thread with women's issues.

Every day is ladies day in my book. How crass and insulting to remove the fairer gender from its rightful pedstal for celebration 1 day of 365.

As you have an interest in violence against women, I was curious as to how you see the attitudes directed at women on this site.

Olde English worded understatement = the most magnificent creature to come from the hand of god, irrespective of skin or hair color.

>I am sorry if you feel I have cluttered this thread with my posts. Therefore, I won't post any more after this one.
>I was simply trying to promote equality of the sexes which I feel has been undermined by the establishment of an International Women's Day.
>I would like to promote respect for everyone, with gender being taken right out of the equation, but when I try to do that I just get attacked. Therefore, I will also make no posts on International Men's Day since my posts seem bring out a lot of repressed anger in you.
>I'm sorry you feel that way.

"In the home" and outside of the home, in professional careers and community life varies with individual marriages and is hardly regulated

by blind traditions of earlier times or gender specific. Men and women bring assets into the marriage. They alone are qualified to decide.

I know.

Edit: ... or think I know. Maybe I should ask you to elaborate for my benefit. Thanks.
