Totally agree about the theft part, if someone has made something to sell then it should theirs to make the money from it, but if they sell at too high a price then it is up to the public to decide not to buy it. To get a blockbuster film it helps a lot to have a star.
You need to spend money on stars to make money off the public.
I would think most actors are more concerned about money then there art hence the advertising of sofas for a lot of money. The director who refuses to pay stars won't get them and the film will make less money. I have download films but I have also paid to see them in the cinema and purchased multiple DVDs. There are just some films I couldn't warrent paying £10 or more for a DVD I will only watch once. Many films I would pay for and have.
I add money to both the music and the film industry and download the downloading does not make me spend less on them but it lets me enjoy them more. I couldn't spend more money on either as I don't have a lot more to spend.

The number of peers depends but as a rule of thumb the higer the number the better. A peer could have anywhere from 0 to 99.9%, if it is the later then you could download almost all of the file from him if it is 0% then he has nothing to add and will just be downloading from other people. When I use bitcomet, all I need to do is to click on the bitcomet icon on my desktop. Then from the window, there are many possible websites I can choose from. When I choose one, say, torrentbar, another window will appear. From there, I can find lots of movies, games, music etc. And when I find what I want, I just click on download, and bitcomet does the rest!
In the case of utorrent, I also get a utorrent window. But without any website addresses. I guess I can still open these other websites separately on my own. But when I find the stuff I want to download, I just don't know how to proceed. I tried clicking on download, but nothing happens in the utorrent window. Am I supposed to do something in between first?

If you're into metal my sister knows a ton of sites you can get music from.
If you have any trouble downloading, turn off your firewall and reconfigure Windoze so it's solid as a rock (unless you go on crack sites)
Personally, I prefer eMule myself.
