The last time i saw our winner he was using his trophy to drink out of.
a slightly higher attendance then last year. I cant fault the quill on their grub anyway ( i was starving ) pity they stopped serving food at 5 though! The highlights were:
1. meeting up with the same faces as last year
2. seeing clocks this time around [ although there were only 4 clocks so i saw 1 game last over an hour...get a room!!!
3. seeing a marked inprovement in some players *koff...and a decline in others!*
4. another round of double chess - very entertaining!
5. i got to meet a psychopath (yes you know who you are!!)
"Demonseed's rants were pretty funny though..." yes i enjoyed beating him.

ps oh look....i left the speed chess trophy in my bag...guess ill just have to leave it here...on my mantlepiece...to gather dust.
pps once again my game improved throughout the day - have not played chess in ages so it took me a while to get into it - also the alcohol help :----)

Things were getting a bit blurry by the time i played Kaleb (forgot his handle, but i hope everyone there posts here or the captins for the photos will be full of "what's his name", and "that guy"😉 for the tourney.
Great night, and yes the grub would've come in handy in the evening. Trev Cad and Demonseed (the psycopath, i think) are probably on the way home now.
