really shouldn't limit yourself to just that one genre from this era. Second golden age of music if you ask me. Every genre was at its peak with the exception of Hip Hop (yet to come) and Punk (already passed)

But really as a first step, load up some Ministry...it smashes anything these new Pop-Punk bands are putting out these days. Check out the lyrics to these songs and crank it up.
