Interesting how tablebases are in the middle of the 'legal' section, not quite the position taken here on RHP, if I understand correctly.

So what, other sites allow engine use, it doesn't matter, it is against the rules of this site to use end game tablebases.

How do you know that "it is against the rules of this site to use end game tablebases", other than opinions posted in the forum (to which I referred)? Certainly not from the current ToS. Perhaps a conctructive debate could be beneficial to all.

You are right. I over-estimated the capabilities of some of the posters in the general forum.
