Maybe you did, to be honest at my mediocre rating it is rare that an opponent would need a tablebase to beat me so I pay the debate no heed.

edit. It should be pointed out that alerting this thread would have it moved to the right forum...can you think why that might be ?
And the right forum being ... ?

If you don't know that, you're on your own.

Very convincing! 2 threads from the chess forum, one from the site ideas forum and one from the help forum! Now read the 'general forum' description and guess where you should post something when it is not clear in which forum it belongs ....

I was simply making the point that there are already too many threads debating this issue, the site admins decision has already been communicated to the populous through a game moderator. There was no need for you to create another thread covering old ground so I was pointing you to some threads where there are people happy to debate the point with you, none of which are in the general forum.

This is not old news! My post referred to a news item of the last 24 hours. A game moderator, with all respect due, is an executor of laws and principles, not an authority!

I have not tried to change anything, or even post my personal opinion. I thought it was interesting for the entire RHP community to see that the debate is still going on. Or do we want to stick to non-explicit dogma's?
