I am soon to be retiring from all competitive chess play. I intend to write a few books about chess, human nature, and the internet. And maybe get in some living. I have a beautiful grand baby I want to spend the rest of my life with.

There is no doubt, I play badly...but I won't cheat, so I guess I don't need to be on that list...

When I first came to this site, I made the mistake of playing folks who where head and shoulders above me in their chess skills...which drove my rating right down almost immediately. I have not recovered since...

It's ok. I don't count a low rating as a sign of diminished intelligence or moral failing...It's just a game...and I'm having fun here.
