@badradger saidOnce we had a propa bath put in I had the luxury of a bath after my gorgeous big sister which was always hot and smelt nice. Much nicer than the luke warm metal bath tub type 🙂

@drewnogal saidIf you have a dishwasher employ a plumber to divert the drainage pipe to your front door. You will have the cleanest steps in your neighbourhood.
Use the bowl of remaining washing up water to rinse away any dust outside your front / back doors.
@the-gravedigger saidI heard that a dishwasher uses less water per day than washing dishes by hand so can save money if you’ve a water meter.

@relentless-red saidThat's true. If you put it on every time you make a cup of tea its going to use a lot of water.

@drewnogal saidThis was common in olden times. Being old yes, first mom, then me. It was customary back then, the head of the house, the lady, the children, then infants. By that time the water was so dirty you couldn't tell if the baby was still in it. This is supposedly where the expression, Don't throw the baby out with the bathwater came from. Having crawled out of the bath water mud more than once as an infant I believe it.
