Last year, O'connel street was a building site due to refirbishments of the street, thus giving the angry mob a plethora of projectile weapons to use against the Garda (police).

There are some really funny pictures that appeared in the paper for the next couple of days of dumbass locals looting Schuh, and other clothes shops. They are all pictured running out the shops with big cheesy grins on their faces....political protest at it's best.
There were also a couple of Non-nationals (chinese, i think) that were beaten up for trying to defend their store from mob members theiving 😛

living in london, i never even heard about it, good on the rioters.
amazed that "loyalist" troublemakers had the nerve to step across the border and how naive of irish politicians and police to even contemplate allowing such a troublemaking march.

But that's our traditional marching route, how dare you deprive us of it you fenian bar stewards.

I assumed Trev was being touchy about the lack of understanding, displayed by the poster, regarding the intentions of those who marched in Dublin.
