It was simply a statement of fact. I owe you nothing and you think what you wish. I thought you had actually matured just a little bit, but apparently I was wrong.
Wallow in your petty bitterness alone.

Apparently the RL friend of KW decided to toss the game over to the Heathers and the Horde. Nice. I told you the Saxons and the other Heathers would screw you right after Denmark fell months ago (since Nems left obviously).
You're just starting to sound petty and vindictive.

Give it a whirl, BB.

As for the rest, if someone can give some explanation of Novgorod's strategy, I'd like to hear it. How about you, Gottschalk; you're the most experienced player. Give it a shot.
Is he really that much of a l00ser that he'd get a "RL" friend to join the game to help him win? Where's the proof?

I was told that the Novgorod player had experienced a death in the family and was no longer able to or interested in investing any more time to the game. This is, if true, quite understandable, although I am not a big fan of what Novgorod decided to do on the way out.
Ideally, if a player should need to leave the game, he or she should contact the GM and let the GM know. A lot of times, the departing player decides to go off and do some action X that is designed to help his buddies (either real life friends or those he has made in game). This action X is rarely something that you would see a real life ruler of a medieval realm do. It might be Novgorod's welcoming of foreign invaders within their borders. One wonders where Novgorod's gold has gone, also. It might be something along the line of Novgorod's suicide attack on Norway.
This kind of thing always bugs me. I'm in a game right now as the Horde and the French, Novgorod and Lithuanian players are all real life friends. France IMMEDIATELY sends its starting fleet east through the Baltic (huh?). When it gets all the way to Vaasa several turns later, Novgorod has already taken it. The next turn, Novgorod transfers ownership of Vaasa to the French and, for the next three turns, completely stops building ANY units whatsoever. Novgorod is, however, still turning in orders as it is gradually giving away territory to Lithuania and, I can only assume, loads of gold to Lithuania and France.
I had been allied to all three, but when I saw what was going on, I contacted the GM and let him see what was going on. Essentially, I told him that France and Novgorod were acting exactly as if they were being run by the same player, but I stressed that I was not suggesting that that was what was going on. What I was suggesting was that if the Novgorod in this game was so uninterested in playing, he should be replaced, because his completely irrational actions (if he was indeed acting as Novgorod's prince) were causing an unfair playing condition. The fact that no rules were being broken did not mean, I suggested, that the game was being harmed, in this case by non-paying players.
In the end, the GM set the Novgorod realm to AI.
It is important to note that sometimes these I'm-leaving-the-game-so-there actions are NOT welcomed by the friends these actions are intended to benefit. We can not know if any other realm knew about Novgorod's decisions beforehand.
