I've been here over ten years now.

I got a lot of flak when I first started posting here, which was a full year after I joined the site. And that flak came in the same form: I was accused of being a man, and a few of the knuckle-draggers had a special name for me: Suziman, which I endured for a long time until I finally decided I'd had enough and I just kept alerting those posts and telling them off when I got them until it finally stopped. I was just too contrary to let them drive me away. But I never get that same flavor of flak anymore, maybe because I've already paid my dues.
