@divegeester's present profile verbatim as typed in bold::

"I will never leave RHP.

I love this site; it is one of the best, if not the best correspondence chess site on the internet. Nor would I undermine the site financially by cancelling my subscription because I was (for example, but not exclusively), a pouting, attention seeking prick.

RHP is the best chess website in the world and Russ (the owner) is a creative programmer, humorous corporate leader and an excempification of dot.com entrepreneurialism. The subscription fee is a veritible gift; I would gladly sell my house and all its contents just to be able to sign up for another 12 months.

The public forum posters are a marvellous and diverse group of facinating people who's humorous and insightful contributions are worthy of this great site's aspirations and whom demonstrate a mutual respect and deference to one another; in all, a cohesive balm which binds us together in a vortex of international cyber-love"

Balderdash. I renewed my subscription after a hiatus and have now returned, from the non sub scum status to the exalted status of a subscriber, and have neither an avatar in the forums nor am I playing in any tourneys. ๐Ÿ˜ฒ๐Ÿ˜€
I think the length of time for anything one does is limited to one's life. Like string some are short others long and lots in between.
I have now entered a tourney and the three players that I am up against are all in the 1400+-1700 rating range. It'll be a short tourney for me I fear. ๐Ÿ˜‰

There are tournaments for players closer to your range.

"Announcement

To: Whom It May Concern:

The person responsible for 'Memo's next Red Hot Pawn General Forum Thread will be titled,

'Memo II'

Its original post will simply say:

'Post whatever's on your mind 24/7; however any and all Copy & Paste posts will be Alerted.'

Timing? Sometime in the "foreseeable future" unless HandyAndy's "crystal ball" becomes illuminated and says otherwise. Stay tuned."

"Would divegeester who "Joined 16 Feb '08" and has professed himself to be a "PROUD SUBSCRIBER" who is "Supporting Russ" please contact each of the following contributors to this thread [from page one to eighteen] who are apparently free ride non-sub scum Red Hot Pawn Members: "FMF; Trev33; wolfgang59; Shallow Blue and Captain Strange for the purpose of encouraging each of them to cough up "$40.00" or its equivalent to follow his loyalty suit? Otherwise they too will be welcoming Boston Lad to their ranks on or about January 6, 2016. Thanks." ~Charlie Cyberspace
