"I will never leave RHP.
I love this site; it is one of the best, if not the best correspondence chess site on the internet. Nor would I undermine the site financially by cancelling my subscription because I was (for example, but not exclusively), a pouting, attention seeking prick.
RHP is the best chess website in the world and Russ (the owner) is a creative programmer, humorous corporate leader and an excempification of dot.com entrepreneurialism. The subscription fee is a veritible gift; I would gladly sell my house and all its contents just to be able to sign up for another 12 months.
The public forum posters are a marvellous and diverse group of facinating people who's humorous and insightful contributions are worthy of this great site's aspirations and whom demonstrate a mutual respect and deference to one another; in all, a cohesive balm which binds us together in a vortex of international cyber-love"

Balderdash. I renewed my subscription after a hiatus and have now returned, from the non sub scum status to the exalted status of a subscriber, and have neither an avatar in the forums nor am I playing in any tourneys. ๐ฒ๐
I think the length of time for anything one does is limited to one's life. Like string some are short others long and lots in between.
