RHP is the best chess website in the world and Russ (the owner) is a creative programmer, humorous corporate leader and an excempification of dot.com entrepreneurialism. The subscription fee is a veritible gift; I would gladly sell my house and all its contents just to be able to sign up for another 12 months.

Balderdash. I renewed my subscription after a hiatus and have now returned, from the non sub scum status to the exalted status of a subscriber, and have neither an avatar in the forums nor am I playing in any tourneys. 😲😀
I think the length of time for anything one does is limited to one's life. Like string some are short others long and lots in between.
