I think perhaps GB you may have misinterpreted the meaning of this quote. (Apologies if you haven't). I'm 'assuming' you have interpreted it in a religious context, in that a man killing himself destro ...[text shortened]... m experience, suicide in more often than not a desperate act from an individual overwhelmed by life.

Since suicide is all about people who are no longer here to explain their actions, maybe it's irrelevant how we feel unless we know more about each individual case. Maybe we should just respect the fact that these tragedies are too complex for us to understand.
