There was a trendy fad here about thirty years ago which prompted affluent young couples to place a large jar of Grey Poupon "Dijon mustard"

Exactly. He just doesn't realise a lot of things. He doesn't understand how totally dim he is, sounding even dimmer whenever he tries to be clever and especially when he tries to put a fellow RHP member down.
