The post that was quoted here has been removedWhen the soon-to-be Mario finally got up the last ladder after dodging barrels and fire balls to rescue the princess from Donkey Kong. Beautiful.
The beginning of the original Pokemon games (start of the adventure). The Red and Blue versions were great and a lot of fun (especially when you take advantage of the glitch).
When Samus loses all her powers after the intro in Metroid Prime, then loses them again in MP Echoes. Lol. I just started laughing when my brother lost all his powers again.
The special moves in Prince of Persia. Wall running and what not. Some pretty cool combos in there.

The only fad that burned so many names into my memory.
I can easily remember at least 100 off the top of my head now. 😳
Most memorable for me :
When you learn how your wife died in 'Silent Hill 2'.
Shrinking to the size of a flea in 'Okami' then jumping into the Emperors mouth to defeat the demon residing in his stomach.
The multi-player in the N64 version of 'Conker's Bad Fur Day'.
Beating the NES verison of 'Rygar' and the original 'Metroid'.

Anybody play that old NES game, "Solomon's Key"? It was a great puzzle game.
Also the first time I went to the torture room for being too greedy in Mighty Bomb Jack was a trip.
In Final Fantasy 7, the death of Arrais was so sad.
