It is an unfair characturiazation of Americans. Corprate greed (US AND European), has caused the outsourcing of millions of American jobs. We face a rapidly declining middle class. Americans borrow, not out of voracious consumerism, but out of necessity. We all drive cars because crooked politicians give tax breaks to the rich, instead of investing in public transportation.
The Bretton Woods Accord, wihich benefitted all other countries except the US has caused an annual inflation rate of 3%, hence our need to continually borrow money (ours decreases in value yearly).
Its easy to blame the "Yanks" for the worlds problems, but remember that if not for the US, you would all be speaking German right now, and if not for our massive military might, Soviet communism would have spread all throughout Europe unchecked. I don't recall Europe helping to offer to pay for that protection. I and my children are still paying for your freedom, so...Your welcome!

2 and 3. No. But you are an American, residing in America - most people choose the flag of the country they are from or the flag of the country they live in. Very few choose to fly a flag of a country which engenders political beliefs which are in direct opposition to their own.

Since you were unable to comprehend my sentence, and obviously can't be arsed looking up a word before making a moron of yourself, I would have to reiterate my observation that you lack any sort of mental acuity, and by voicing your opinion on these forums are inflicting an attack on intelligence which might be compared to the guerilla tactics of the Vietcong.
8. Yes, and yes. If you haven't the ability to be horribly critical of yourself, you have no business being critical of anything else. One thing I can say for myself is that no matter how hard I may be on others, or to what standard I might hold them, I hold myself to an even higher standard and regret all my failings, no matter how small (and yes, this is a constant wound, because I don't claim to be perfect, and actually admit that I can be an absolute failure - can you?) I expect better of myself and of the world. Can you say that you are as even handed yourself? I doubt it since you haven't the depth.
