It’s a testament to him as an actor and the Star Wars franchise in general that I never asked myself the question “who’s in the hairy suit”
A nice guy in real life to by all accounts.

Yes I heard a synopsis of his life and achievements on bbc radio 4s ‘Last Word’ programme.
Now there’s someone who had a positive impact on a lot of people’s lives and still does.

He wrote a great many stories, but I think he was never able to top the 1951 Pulitzer Prize-winning The Caine Mutiny.

I remember his books The Winds of War, and War and Remembrance, great novels which I read non-stop. They also were made into a successful mini-TV-series. I still keep them in my bookcase.
