@Suzianne saidBunch of freaking hypocrites - both sides of the aisle - the whole lot of them. The problem isn't the politicians, the problem is the electorate. We get the government we deserve.
Here's a shocker.
Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC), American Trumpublican politician, 71.
May God have mercy on his soul.
In his own words:
"Trump's a race-baiting, xenophobic, religious bigot." — CNN's New Day, December 8, 2015
"If we nominate Trump, we will get destroyed.......and we will deserve it." — Graham's official Twitter account, May 3, 2016
Called Trump "a kook," saying he thought Trump was crazy and unfit to be president. — Fox News interview, 2016
"Trump and I, we've had a hell of a journey. I hate it to end this way... All I can say is count me out. Enough is enough." — Senate floor speech, January 6, 2021
"Can we move forward without President Trump? The answer is no. I've determined we can't grow without him." — May 2021
"He is one of the strongest people I've ever known." — Post on X, September 2024
Called himself the president's "North Star" during Trump's second term.
Godspeed Lindsey Graham - thank you for your public service

@Bish saidExactly like Ted Cruz.

Trump insulted his wife during a debate and then within two weeks, Cruz turned completely around and endorsed him.
No spines in the entire party.
"... probably belongs in Debates - sorry @ponderable" -- Bish
True enough, I'm out.

@AlanTal saidWonderful New Zealander actor best known for his role in Jurassic Park but also The Piano, Dead Calm, Peaky Blinders and - especially for Swedes - the film Ivanhoe, which is shown every New Years Day and has been so for the last 40 years.
Actor Sam Neill, 78
I love Sam Neill for his talent and charisma and I am sad to learn about his passing.
@Torunn saidWe all think of Sam Neill as a Kiwi, but he was actually born in Northern Ireland. English mother, NZ father. Famiy migrated to NZ when Sam was 7.

@Drewnogal saidSo many good people, good actors leaving us, Drew.
@Torunn
So sad 🙏 and such a loss to the film industry. The Piano was an excellent film. I still have the DVD
I am torn between getting upset with annoying everyday things I read about in the paper, or just letting them pass because they are a waste of our precious time here.
@Drewnogal saidI watched the Piano and bought the piano music not long after. It's one of my all time faves. It was also the last film I watched with my nan.
