I didn't ignore the word "everyone". You and I disagree about what belongs on this thread, that's all. What constitues a "notable death" is in the eye of the beholder. You and I behold it differently. We disagree, that's all.

I think all their deaths were both tragic and notable, regardless of the curriculum vitae of some of those who died.

I haven't "failed to comprehend" anything. Nor am I "distorting" anything. Nor am I being "dishonest". You were very explicit when you declared that this thread should, in your view, be about "mentioning the passing of people who had NOTABLE LIVES BEFORE THEY DIED." Your capitalization, not mine. It's still there. People can read it. You and I disagree about what "notable death" means, that's all.

Ranjita Rane, an Indian cricketer who played 8 seasons - of First-class cricket - for what used to be called Bombay (now Mumbai). She died of cancer at the age of only 43.
