Sorry to hear about his passing but didn't know him not into poetry, rookie might be interested though.

It does seem a little odd, and a tad disturbing, that D64 posts on this thread for the first time in ages, and then less than an hour later the poster fmf sees it relevant to mention the Chinese deaths on a run.

None of them, however sad, in the spirit of this thread, which up to now has been the death of notable ( ie, celebrity, well known) people

I would suggest that at the time their families and friends would have considered those who sank on the Titanic 'Notable'!
