That is genuinely horrific, and I hope those words had consequences for their account here.

That said, I recall you too faced a site ban in the past for wishing death upon people here that you considered trolls.

The good thing about wishing death upon other people, is that it's very likely to happen (eventually). 😉

Seriously, I agree with your first paragraph, and as for the second, in light of Duchess64's post at the top of the page*, perhaps that provides some context for greater understanding.

I think both instances occurred prior to my arrival on the site, so yes, my knowledge on this comes via intermediaries. Speaking for myself, I would be bothered (to varying degrees admittedly) to hear that anybody on this site had passed away, including those I banged heads with. People are people after all and we only really glimpse part of them here. (And not always the best bits).

That is terrible, but many of us who don't frequent the "Debate Forum" would know that was even said. On the other hand it has been pointed out you have wished death upon someone yourself.

Why would say it that way duches64 almost sounds like a racist remark? You do get in a grey area talking that way.
