I've always said that HATE was a very strong word, and how can anyone hate anyone they don't know personally? I don't like assumptions being made by some on a persons race either which duchess64 had done now on a few occasions.

I think this is the problem/limitation with internet conversations and goes back to my comments about us not really knowing enough about each other. (In general terms). You only know things about people that they have chosen to share.

I had a life before coming here and have known hate and abuse. I think you yourself could 'help other people' by not viewing them as one dimensional characters and making assumptions about the life experiences they might or might not have had. There are more factors at play, alongside race, ethnicity or privilege.
